Cancer is a frightening disease. And for good reason. According to the President’s Cancer Panel and World Health Organization, more than 40% of Americans will be diagnosed with cancer, and more than a fifth will die from it. Globally, about 12 million people are diagnosed with the disease and 7 million people die from it every year

But there is hope. Leading researchers at the University of California believe that as much as two thirds of cancer can be prevented through a combination of a healthy diet including appropriate vitamins and supplements, exercise, weight reduction, limiting alcohol intake and sun exposure, limiting exposure to known environment carcinogens and not smoking. The long term goal of science is to eradicate the disease; but meanwhle, our job is to help you prevent the disease from arising through strengthening of the immune system and reducing exposure to carcinogens. We hope in these pages to show you how to implement what science has to say, and in the process, to keep as many people as possible cancer free.
